E-DESIGN - ONLINE INTERIOR DESIGN EXPLAINED
What is E-Design, also known as Online Interior Design?
E-Design is a convenient and cost effective way to make use of an Interior Designer's knowledge and experience without physically having to be in the same place. As an E-Design expert, I can create the look and feel of what my clients want to achieve, despite time and distance constraints.
How E-Design will benefit you
It will save you time - no more hours upon hours of shopping blindly not knowing what you are looking for
It will save you money - I will find the most cost effective solution for you
No more stress - you can execute the project on your own timeline
You will end up with a beautiful, unique and interesting space/s
How E-Design works?
You will be required to complete a detailed questionnaire related to your preferences, requirements, lifestyle and budget, and this will help me create a room/s most suited to your needs, wants, likes and dislikes, and the style you are hoping to achieve.
You will send me digital photos of the room/s from every relevant angle plus a few images of your home's exterior.
You will send measurements of your room/s, ceiling to floor, and each wall indicating any windows, doors or built-in features.
You will send an idea board, Pinterest board or collection of images of spaces and items that you love, and that way I can get a really good sense of your taste, style and the look that you are trying to achieve. The more information you send, the easier I will be able to interpret your taste, and the better your design will be.
Once I have received all your information and payment, I will promptly start designing your dream space. Once complete all information will be sent to you via email.
I am also available for face time calls or videos should the need arise.
How long will the process take?
Once I have all the information required from you, it will take approximately 21 working days to source and produce your beautiful E-Design package. It will then be emailed to you as a PDF.
What you get:
A to-scale floor plan showing the furniture layout.
A mood board of all selections using color images.
Detailed information about the specific pieces selected for your project.
Images of any building materials, like tile and cabinet hardware, that are relevant to your design.
A detailed shopping list -- both local and online -- for everything recommended. If you live out of the U.S. this may vary (let's discuss).
A step-by-step explanation of how to pull all the elements together.
OPTIONAL EXTRA: A 3D room rendering for an additional fee of $350 per room.
Some Tips for a Successful Result:
Be up-front about your budget and available resources.
Measure doorways and hallways, especially if you live in an apartment. Make sure all furniture that you order can get it into your space.
Send as many inspirational photos as you can, and point out exactly what you like about them. Similarly, reference specific colors or styles you like or dislike. The more specific you are, the better sense I will have of your style.
Point out any quirks about your space that might not show up in the photographs. For example, mention the location of your living room's cable hookup so you don't get a design plan that places the TV somewhere you can't accommodate it.
Be clear about the furniture or accessories you'd like to keep, and which pieces you'd like to dispose of.
