How to Set a Table when Entertaining / Pretty Pieces for Entertaining

Since summer is almost over (although here in sunny San Diego we are fortunate enough to have summer just about all year round), I thought I would share my recent table setting, AND our newly installed luxury vinyl plank (LVP) floors (that we are loving!). These vinyl planks look exactly like real wood but they have the awesome feature of being waterproof (YES!!!) and scratch proof and they are super durable. They feature a long wide plank, ribbed, realistic wood texture look with bevel edge effect. I have included more information regarding these floors below. Any questions? Feel free to reach out to me at 858-255-9050 or email me here.

So now for some images and details of my table setting. I used simple white plates and cutlery that I purchased years ago (I will share alternatives with you later in this post), and a tablecloth that I purchased in Australia years ago (but it actually comes from South Africa). This is one of my favorite tablecloths that I have ever owned. It is made of cotton organdy and is a real beauty. I have another similar cloth in charcoal and white tones (also stunning) and I will share it in a future post. Sadly these tablecloths are no longer available (I am dying to manufacture and sell them myself, that's how much I love them!)

The leaf napkin rings (come in 2 different designs) were a gift from one of my best friends who runs an online gift store. Here is a link to her website.

Did I mention how much I love these napkin rings??!!!!

I guess that's not surprising since I have a definite affinity and love for everything green, garden, floral and nature related.

The napkins come from Ikea. No link was available online but you will find them in the store, I saw them there recently. This is one of their older napkin designs but it is obviously very popular as they have not phased it out as they do with most of their designs after a certain time period.

The small low round vase is also from Ikea and here is the link.

The candlesticks (also from Ikea) come in a set of 3 in varying heights and here is the link.

The candles are from Ikea and come in a pack of 20 and here is the link.

The taller small thin vase (to the left of the image) is also from Ikea and here is the link.

Here is a view from upstairs of our new luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring and here are more details on the flooring that I promised:

This flooring features state-of-the-art LVP technology that results in a highly durable, WATERPROOF flooring product that stands up to your lifestyle while also achieving a real wood grain effect via "Embossed in Register" design and innovation. This floor is durable, scratch, stain and fade resistant, easy to clean and maintain, hypoallergenic and perfect for busy households with pets, children and daily traffic. This product is GreenGuard Certified and comes with a lifetime limited residential warranty and a 15 year limited commercial warranty.

For more information on these floors call on on 858-255-9050 or email me here.
